The most advanced technology created by humans is language. No modern invention exceeds its potential. It is true that we can travel to the moon or carry a computer in our pocket, but without language we would still be stuck in caves.

Societies create narrative frameworks that draw on memories, archetypes, heroes and mythologies. On this cultural layer, the individual will grow up incorporating family narratives from which the own ones will emerge. The ideas of the world and of oneself therefore have a common basis.

When adversity touches us, we go to our narrative reservoirs looking for answers, meaning and direction. Vital crises force us to weave new narratives, this time in the first person. It is not an easy task. We are all afraid to face fear, sadness or anger, and also what we think threatens or worries us. We usually defend ourselves by ignoring it and ignoring it, and in cases where it overflows us in a circular fashion.
No one teaches us how to deal with suffering and difficulty, since these are precisely the circumstances that will favour our growth and overcoming.
